If you want to learn real spoken English you need to be able to understand the way native speakers really speak.
This is an exact phone conversation I just had with my best friend. There is a lot of slang in here and almost no good vocabulary. This is exactly how native English friends talk to each other all the time.
Unfortunately this kind of stuff isn’t taught in schools. You need to be able to understand this if you want to speak English well. Don’t worry, I’ll teach you everything in the course.
My friend’s name is Jay. My name is Andrew. Here is the EXACT conversation. I didn’t change anything:
Jay: Hey man, what’s up?
Andrew: Not much, I’m just seeing what you’re up to tonight.
Jay: I was kind of planning on just staying in and chilling at my place. You can swing by if you want.
Andrew: I was thinking of going somewhere for a drink. I’ve been
cooped up in the office all week and I need to let loose a bit.
Would you be up for that?
Jay: I don’t know man, I’m pretty beat. I’ll let you know later if I get a second wind.
Andrew: Ok, cool. Later.
Jay: Later.
Notice that this conversation is totally different than what is taught in schools and in textbooks. The funny thing is this is EXACTLY what you need to know if you want to speak with native speakers.
I’ve made hundreds of these kinds of dialogs and I explain every little detail in this program. In this dialog, I would explain everything in green for example.
After you listen to these 126 lessons, about 12 minutes each, your English will be really amazing and very similar to a native speaker.
