Here is another excellent phrase in English.  If you “drag your feet” on a decision, it means that you take a really long time to decide something.  It is always used in a negative way.  This does not mean that the person is thinking carefully about a choice.  This usually means that they are wasting people’s time.

Here is an example sentence:

We need to decide quickly where we want  to go on vacation.  If we keep dragging our feet, we will have a hard time finding a hotel.
